IAS Visual ADVANCE! Business Edition (BE) is a full-featured accounting suite for the small to medium sized enterprise. It is designed to fulfill the accounting needs of companies that have outgrown entry-level accounting systems or have specialized business needs.

The IAS Visual ADVANCE! Business product suite contains seven standard accounting modules: General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Inventory Control, Sales Order Invoicing, System Manager, and one module of your choice from the following list: Purchase Order, Contact Management, Bank Reconciliation, Data Exchange, or Message Manager. Additional modules and source code are optionally available.

Standard Modules

All of the modules listed under the "Standard Modules" heading are included in the standard IAS Visual ADVANCE! Business Edition package.   

Accounts Payable
The Accounts Payable module manages all vendor, invoice and disbursement information. Entry of invoices and the generation of checks is extremely easy and efficient. Our exclusive "toggle" feature literally enables invoices to be paid by simply checking a box.   

Accounts Receivable
The Accounts Receivable module manages all information relative to customer invoices and payments received. Application of cash is extremely efficient. Our exclusive "toggle" feature enables payments to be applied to invoices by a simple mouse click.

General Ledger
The General Ledger module combines transaction detail from all accounting modules to provide a full snapshot of the company's financial position, as well as a complete audit trail. The module is completely date sensitive. Transactions may be posted to any present, future or past accounting periods.   

Inventory Control
The Inventory module provides exceptional control, and a clear picture of stock movements and valuation. The Inventory module can accommodate small companies with a single warehouse to large companies with multiple warehouse locations. Bins, kit items and serial, lot, standard, average, FIFO and LIFO costing is supported. Multi level bills of materials and unique pricing features are also available.

Sales Order
The Sales Order module effectively manages all phases of the customer order process from quote entry to invoicing and shipping. Various management reports are available to analyze demand for products.

Sys+tem Manager
The System Manager module controls, monitors and integrates the entire IAS Visual ADVANCE! system. The module defines companies, users, and groups. System administrators may set security and group preferences, and have the ability to view all system activity. The Workflow function permits administrators to monitor works in progress as well as the status of assigned tasks.



Optional Modules

One (1) module from the Optional Modules list is included as part of the standard IAS Visual ADVANCE! Business Edition package. You can purchase more than the one module included in the Business Edition package, at an additional cost.

Bank Reconciliation
Reconcile all your bank statements with this easy to use module. Bank Reconciliation interfaces with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable so that you may track the flow of funds in bank accounts.  

Contact Management
The Contact Management module stores all your contacts, schedules, and other vital information for the people you need to reach. This module allows you to log all meetings; phone calls, emails, as well as schedule follow up appointments.   

Data Exchange
The Data Exchange module allows you to import data from any ODBC data source or dbf type file directly into IAS Visual ADVANCE!. This includes the ability to convert data from other accounting systems to IAS Visual ADVANCE!.   

Message Manager
The Message Manager module adds bulk fax and email capabilities that enable Sales Orders, Invoices, Statements, and Purchase Orders to be sent to multiple recipients. The Message Manager module includes Fax Server software enabling faxes to be sent from any desktop on the network.   

Purchase Order
The Purchase Order module provides functions for effectively managing purchases. Items are received into Inventory and costs are compared to original purchase orders for variance control. Accounts Payable invoices are automatically created.

You may choose to purchase modules from the Additonal Modules lists in order to fill your company's needs.   

Advanced Financials
The Advanced Financials module extends the financial reporting capabilities of IAS Visual ADVANCE! by adding drill down functionality for onscreen financial reports. Advanced Financials provides tremendous flexibility for defining financial reports. It can be used for anything from a simple one-segment chart of accounts to one with multiple divisions and cost centers. Results may also be transferred to Microsoft Office.   

FoxFire!
Foxfire! is a query and reporting tool for developers and end users of all skill levels. Users can query, report, graph, drill down and perform other data mining tasks from FoxPro, Visual FoxPro, MS SQL Server, Access, Sybase, and Oracle tables. Its managed query environment and quick-report generator allow users to create the most complex queries and reports without technical skill or programming.
